So, how does one ensure that testosterone levels remain in balance? Some doctors suggest that monitoring testosterone levels every five years, starting at age 35, is a reasonable strategy to follow. If the testosterone level falls too low or if the individual has the signs and symptoms of low testosterone levels described above, testosterone therapy can be considered. However, once testosterone therapy is initiated, testosterone levels should be closely monitored to make sure that the testosterone level does not become too high, as this may cause stress on the individual, and high testosterone levels may result in some of the negative problems (described previously) seen.
When testosterone levels in a man become low, he may start to experience various unpleasant symptoms, since this hormone is responsible for the maintenance of several functions in his body. Learning what the symptoms are, what causes the condition and how it can be treated helps men identify the signs of low T early on; thus ensuring* their condition can be treated quickly and more successfully, since a late diagnosis might mean the man will need a considerable amount of testosterone therapy to produce* effective results when trying to restore his testosterone levels.
Hey Ali, what did you do during the period where you were 17-18 to optimize your hormone production? I’m seventeen and I feel like a late bloomer. I’m pretty thin, at 138 lbs, I’m a 5’8 African American, and my shoulders are about 41 inches around. I want to optimize my hormones in order to hit the maximum height for my genetic potential, grower bigger everywhere, develop a more masculine face ( chisleled jawline, wide jaw, course features, etc). Do you have your personal journal in the form of an article anywhere on the site (Kind of new to the site)? Also, I start a strength program. I’m lifting with my schools football team for 30 mins before soccer practice, but soon I will have a gym membership and do starting strength or Greyskull LP.
